Skill and Kill India

Those Get Skilled in long run " Gets Killed " ! .

- Yes.. I say this with full understanding . I m skilled TAILOR and I know what would have happend if I remained as tailor.. I am also aware of what happend to all those my friend - skilled tailors with me and what happend ! They remained as tailor and they decayed over time . see them having the existance itself is problem for most of them !

Let me make some observations on Skill India ..

- People who champion Skil India never recommend SKILL INDIA for their own chidren.

Have you realised this ? Skill India is for all those children other than their own ! Educated and Not skilled persons appreciate SKILLs but never allow their own children to become Skilled artisans . There lies the TRUTH !

- ITI is Skill and IIT is not ! IIT is Education .. Now it is easy to guess why and where educated will send their children. All Educated want their children to go to IIT not to ITI and Skill India . It is rarity to see any educated admitting its child to ITI..

- RICH and EDUCATED always have strong belief that their children are NOT fit for SKILL INDIA. Educated surely resolve that POOR and MARGINALISED are most fit for SKILL INDIA.

- It is the reason a skilled person never encourage their children to go for skill learning . I saw one RUDRAKSHA expert who judges the high value of RUDRAKSHA guiding its child to join main stream education .. not the skill !

More in due course.. I invite / request comments !

Ajeet Khurana post says .. there is still scope for skill india ..Ajit still bas for SKILL INDIA. It is natural for people who are outsiders .. talking in support of skills .

Will the skilled talk the same ? They dont.. Wha is the account of them ? What did they say ? Why they say so ?

As time goes, skilled aspire to have more education. it is their legitimate right to aspire to have education. It is unfinished need of them . With the skill they were exploited. Now with the skill and education they are respected.. When I say Tailor and Professor... suddenly the respect they showered on me shoots up ! Where as, one with a tailor skills do noc comand the same respect ? Same fee and charges they dont ask for ..

What Ajit khurana .. said..

Ajeet Khurana Actually, we have managed to reach a situation where those who work are somehow considered inferior to those to tell them to work. That is why skills are somehow less in demand. And talent is in demand still less unless you are exceptional (dancer, singer, poet, etc). However, as the economic benefits are trickling down to the middle-middle-class, they are getting used to paying for some skills. As a result, there's a chance that some crafts might get more respected.
